It's Stupid Week

Sorry its been a while. Work and home have been so jam packed lately that I havent had much time to dwell on writing. Fox is on spring break this week so we have been spending a little more quality time together when I am away from work.

I must have missed the memo being so busy and all. I wasn't aware this was official 'Stupid Week'. I will only bore you with one story since I know we all encounter stupid people every day. Keep in mind this was about my 39th dumb phone call for the day. It goes a little something like this.

Woman: I was wondering if you could tell me if you had a wine in stock.
Me: Sure, what was the wine?
Woman: It was Muscat
Me: Do you know the name of the one you are looking for?
Woman: The name was Muscat
Me: Muscat is the name of the grape, do you know the producer or where you had it?
Woman: Well no, all it said was Muscat and I had it at some restaurant in California
Me: Well there are 1000's of different people who make this grape so in order to find that exact one we have to know a little more, like who made it. Can you call the restaurant and ask them which they carry, maybe we can identify it.
Woman: Well I had it in 1963 so I dont really remember the name of the restaurant.

At this point I wanted to ask this lady wtf her damage was. Forget remembering the restaurant, they probably turned it into a shopping mall 30 years ago.

Me: Muscat wines are very similar to each other so maybe we can find a substitute.
Woman: I dont want to buy one [~$10] without having tried it first.

From here she became someone else's problem and I took the next 20 mins to reel in the fact that someone out there is actually this daft with my colleague.
