Weekend fun

Alicia and Sara got to make their way up again for Saturday night. I kinda felt bad that it was such a short amount of time but they at least wanted to get a way for a day. They met me at the store and got to take a look around before we closed. On the way home, the idea was to stop and pick up lamb to grill for dinner. Realizing that Costco closes at 6pm on Saturday for some reason I decided to just stop at Publix by the house. Now I know they dont have as good of a meat selection as Costco but it was better than nothing right? Wrong, big disappointment. Apparently the only 2 packages of anything they labeled as lamb were hidden at the bottom of packaged pig parts. The "knowledgeable staff" ignored us the first 2 times we tried to ask him if there was any lamb (keep in mind there are about 4 people wandering the meat isle trying to find something) while restocking pre packaged lunch meats. He doesnt say a word but rather walks down to the lamb portion, digs through about 6 packages and points at it, then walks back to what he was doing. Well of course it was just 2 packages of lamb something about the size of a silver dollar each. Um no thanks. Rather than bother him again to get some fresh fish out of the case to grill, thinking we might perhaps be beaten to death or ignored, we settled on... chicken. Its amazing they didnt run out of that either. A sad sad day for Publix.

After dinner we played Foxy's new game - Cranium. We didnt have enough people when we bought it so this was her first time playing. It was more entertaining to watch everyone act silly... especially after that much wine.

Sunday we went to the in-laws in the afternoon for Lunner (Lunch-Dinner). As the sun was setting I decided to go out towards the beach and out on the patio to watch the sun set and get some good pictures. I got good pictures but felt like I was in a mustard gas attack. The red tide is still really nasty out there. With the wind whipping through all you can do is cough. I still dont feel good from it, reminds me of when I used to smoke.
