On the downward slide to Christmas

Growing up I cant say I ever really got in the spirit so to speak. We weren't really allowed to go trick or treating (we got to pick out a bag of candy and have movie night) which wasn't necessarily a bad thing I guess. Holidays were just never an EXCITING! thing for me, rather a couple days we got out of school at the end of the year.

As I get older, it seems to be a little more fun, worth making an event out of. At this point I'm not very good at decorating or coming up with nifty ideas to "celebrate" the seasons..... however I do have enough common sense not to do this. Gee... I cant wait to see what Christmas brings. Some people just go a little too far.
