Farming

This years garden was just a bit of an experiment to see what would and wouldn't work. Id say it turned out A-OK. There was the usual battle with bugs, heat, not enough water, etc. The things I thought would grow great didnt and the things i threw in there for the hell of it turned out pretty good.

Im thrilled that we are actually growing an eggplant! That was something that hasnt done anything all season. My dad had been complaining that his plants which were triple the size of mine had not produced any fruit all season. Now I get to brag that I have one eggplant growing. Now Im hoping this next year we will be able to produce enough to not quite sustain us but at least be able to eat fresh all the time. Im quadrupling the size of the garden for next year. It may just become a full time job I think.
