Beach life

Wow, I really need some more excitement in my life these days. I have no crazy, 'guess what happened to me today' stuff happening. Maybe its not a bad thing after all.

My brother in law and his girlfriend closed on their new house a couple weeks ago. We got a chance to go out and enjoy the house and water for the day. There is something to be said for having a house at the beach or even just on the water. We sat out on the dock most of the day, did a little jet skiing, and floated on the 'party island'. The sunset was definately the best!

We did however get to see not only 2 sets of dolphins swimming down the intercoastal but we also saw a manatee. I thought it was pretty strange that he was swimming in salt water. I guess they just dont like salt water for long periods of time. We took a gallon of water on the jet ski and poured it on him in hopes we could convince him to stay as well as help the poor bugger out. If he would have opened his mouth and drank Im sure we would have made a friend for the night and had to get the hose down to the beach. Oh well, no pet manatees this week.
