Ok, ok. My public asks for another post so what the hey, Ill give it to them. Its been a while.
Mother's day was celebrated at Tommy's house. That seems to be our new family hangout on Sundays. Break out the kayak, try to keep up with the passing dolphins, or just wade in the water and see how far the dog will swim into the intercoastal and still stay above water. Hey come on, its a legit thing to wonder. We chose eat watermelon and pate, triple cream cheese and those cute little pickles on a mini slice of bread. Dont forget the mustard!
This week we were honored with the presence of a great South African winemaker, Jose Conde, to not only taste out his wines but also to give him the opportunity to tell us how he does it. He happened to be in town and agreed to stop by and do the tasting. At first I thought it was odd that a South African didnt have much of an accent AND looked spanish, until he told me he was from St. Louis. What else can you say other than "hmm, aint that some shit". Oh the places you move for a woman. Anyhow, Jose did a project with Jerkins Perkins who works with us at Wine Warehouse. Ok his name is really Gregg Perkins but its more fun to watch him turn red and get offended when you slip it in in front of people. Gregg called the wine the 'Hammer' which leads me to believe he somehow is trying to relive his days as a Pike at UF. The wine is really good nonetheless. The picture is of Richard (one of my bosses), Jose, and Jerkins Perkins.
Yes Foxy and I are going to Greece on the 31st (May). I will be updating this every day I can with new pictures and events of the day throughout our trip as long as I can get internet access. We are bringing a laptop so we shouldnt have many problems. Keep your eyes peeled.
